Character Design

Character Design with Julia Bracegirdle started off with splashing paint on paper and finding faces in them through our human "animism" :-) In a group we made a silhouette film about Danish culture, designing the characters to show the personalities quickly. Unfortunately we kept moving the figures too much, so the designs were not clear to see. In my group were Maria, Pernille and Steffen. I designed the leprechaun and the Big Ben and read the text.

To find more inspirations for faces, we went into town and took pictures of faces in anything we could find. Here is an example:
which we made into Zombies for an assignment called "The Town Has Eyes". These are my Zombies, one is a tree, the other one a coffee-machine.
