A week of Layout with Uri Kranot was very interesting, we learned about what to concentrate on and be aware of when planning, compositing, designing and drawing Layouts. First we were given a Storyboard panel from Iron Giant which we had to turn into a layout, considering values, details, placement and movement of the characters etc.
The next day we were given a storyboard from Batman and had to turn it into a layout with perspective keeping in mind the values and movements of the camera following the characters. I would still like to work more on those layouts, I am not content with the values and the perspective yet.
After that we were given a scene from Bonnie and Clyde, mid-day, after their car was attacked and shot, still driving along the road. We had to came up with a setting, camera angles and movements and putting it together in After Effects.
