Design

with Lawrence Marvit, the marvelous Designer who also worked on Monster's Inc and A Bug's Life (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0555561/) we spent a week learning about some Art history and the most important Tools for creating a drawing which makes the viewer feel something: "How does it make you feel?" These were
1. Line
2. Shape
3. Value
4. Color
5. Form
6. Space
7. Texture
So this week we were creating abstract drawings of how chocolate tastes, how Jazz sounds, how Romance/Horror feels and how we relate to Robin Hood/Dracula.
First assignment: Draw three rectangles and one line, no lengths and distances can be the same. Most dynamic as possible, that means most uneven as possible. I am not sure if this can be solved, I had 3 mistakes in this one.

Next assignment: draw how dark chocolate tastes like

Draw how Jazz sounds like. This was too realistic so I made a second one:

Draw how Romance feels like (Also two attempts):

Abstract version of Robin Hood:
