This week we had Mike Nguyen (http://rainplace.net/) who taught us about the emotional quality of animation. We have to be aware of the character's feelings, personality, situation, attitude, material (skin/fur). An animation should express an emotion, a feeling, and after that we should be aware of the technical things (anatomy etc).
